Performer is excited to debut the new music video for “Oh, Rosie” by Jon Patrick Walker off his new album People Going Somewhere (out TODAY!). You may recognize Walker from his acting roles (appearing most recently in The Knick). The video also features his two daughters, some of their classmates, as well as his wife, actress Hope Davis.
Says Walker: “The song “Oh, Rosie” was inspired by watching my daughters growing up, finding their way in the world, and for the video I came up with two ideas or story-lines: one being me performing with a backup band comprised of middle-school girls, and the other being a girl onstage alone, presenting herself “to the world” with a sort of high-stakes show-and-tell. The girl in the video is played by my real-life daughter, Georgia, and the backup singer in the girl-band is my other daughter, Mae. We also cast my wife, the actress Hope Davis in the part of the “proud mom” who is filming the show-and-tell. It was great fun to make, and I’m very happy with how it turned out!”
