Being a Boston-based publication, how could we possibly pass up an opportunity to premiere this dope-ass new track by The Relevant Elephants?
“We like to call it our ‘love’ song to our favorite dirty slice of Boston. It’s pretty straightforward lyrically so we just did the best we could musically to capture the fast-paced, reckless nature of an Allston and Brighton house party. We’ve been a part of plenty of those where lots of crazy things happen, you have too much to drink thinking you’ll regret it forever, but you always go back because dammit it’s a fun place!” says the band of the new song.
Catch their upcoming local performance in Somerville at Porchfest on the 16th. They’ll perform on the intersection of Broadway and Medford St. And be sure to follow the band on Twitter @relephants.
