Live Review: Black Moth Super Rainbow at Camp Bisco X

Slightly askew and texturally beautiful, Black Moth Super Rainbow has the guts to do better than what they did. Their set at Camp Bisco X was just OK. They were on-time and their songs sounded similar to the recordings, but there was nothing edging me closer to their sound – nothing hitching me to their music. I can’t put my finger on it, but it felt watered down and washed out. Maybe Black Both Super Rainbow is not the ideal live act, and is better left in the studio.
