The Jazz June
Middle East Club Upstairs – Cambridge, MA
January 2, 2015
Emo punk rockers The Jazz June put out a new album, After the Earthquake, last year on Topshelf Records, ending a long hiatus after disbanding in 2003. The quintet visited the Middle East in Cambridge, MA last week to some very exciting fans. They played an 11-song set inclusive of new material and of course not forgetting fan favorites like “At the Artist’s Leisure, Pt. 2” and “When in Rome.” They did not disappoint, and it was a great show to kick off 2015. Artists also in support included New York’s Field Mouse, Velah (rhymes with Stella), and indie rockers Burglary Years (both from Boston).
