“Soundproofing curtains are made with specially constructed mass loaded limp membrane reinforced with ballistic nylon. The curtains are very effective. In the midrange sound frequency from 1000 Hz to 10,000 Hz, the soundproofing curtains block as much as up to 45 dB of noise. As you know, the human ear does not respond equally to all frequencies; we are much more sensitive to sounds in the frequency range about 1000 Hz to 4000 Hz than to very low or high frequency sounds.”
