This past Memorial Day weekend, Boston Calling delivered a refreshing array of talent. From the legendary Pixies to self proclaimed rap royalty Run The Jewels to the theatrical former My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way, Boston’s City Hall plaza gave way to some of the most memorable performances the city has ever seen. September’s lineup is going to be just as promising; The Avett Brothers, Hozier, Chromeo, and Alt-J are all slated to headline.
