Form a band, make a demo, find a label, get signed, release a record, go on tour. What if there was another way to be successful in the world of music? We Invented Paris have proved that there is. As a group of artists who barely knew each other, they hit the road on a spontaneous adventure, becoming a band as they played gigs in the homes of their fan base. Hosts would invite their friends over and dinner parties with the collective would become concerts. This improvised tour grew to a six-week tour across five European countries, and the word of the band spread. Despite working on their third album today, We Invented Paris still like to do things a little differently: everything from hand-making the packaging for their records to crowdfunding their music speaks to their independent, do-it-yourself ethos.
