Headwaves, a Seattle based electro rock band, has released their first song and first video, titled “Mama.”
The sound is a mix of hazy dream pop, heady rhythms and lush synth rock. Vocals tell the story of a lover watching depression consume their partner. As much as you try to console the person you love, as much as you try to understand the disease and help, sometimes you feel helpless watching the one you love struggle. Sometimes all you can do is stand by their side.
“Mama” is the first glimpse of Headwaves’ debut album, which is set to be released on October 18th.
