Photo Gallery: Pure Bathing Culture in Boston

The Sinclair in Cambridge became the backdrop for the intimate desperation and verbal abstraction that is Pure Bathing Culture. Last year’s Moon Tides contained such a sumptuous emotional gravity that this show promised to be a charming adventure into the bright and catchy sound of disaster that the Portland natives are known for. They definitely delivered, and last night their melodic minimalism beamed brightly as they performed songs like “Ivory Coast,” “Scotty,” and of course my personal favorite, “Pendulum.” Check out some of the night’s best images below.
