Live Review: Everyone Orchestra at All Good 2011

by | Jul 21, 2011 | Concerts & Festivals, Reviews

Everyone Orchestra is an innovative, fun way to experience live music. There is a main conductor who communicates with the audience and the musicians using a whiteboard, instructing players and shaping the jams as they unravel. Other musicians at the festival joined in with Everyone Orchestra, including That 1 Guy and Hot Buttered Rum. The music was pretty cool, and the entertainment aspect was a creative way to change up the festival scene. All Good had a lot of multidimensionality this year, including workshops with bands, special performances, and guest talks at the Grassroots Stage. Watching Everyone Orchestra engage the audience just before sundown, at that really tiring time of day at a festival, was inspiring and uplifting.
