The barriers were up and that band Lagwagon that your older brother used to listen to were back in support of their newest full length album Hang (Fat Wreck Chords). They may be older and maybe not so much wiser, but they still put on a great punk rock show. The (at times) self-deprecating frontman Joey Cape sported some studious looking glasses but wasn’t afraid to take them off when things got a little heavier. If the club on Brighton Ave. wasn’t completely sold out, it sure felt like it. They could have played another hour and no one would have complained.
