Performer just got our grubby little paws on the two new Portable Camera-Mount Digital Wireless Systems** you see above, courtesy of our awesome friends at Audio-Technica.We love these things and you can read our complete review in the January 2015 issue here.
Here’s the deal – they’re doing no good just sitting in our editorial office, and that’s where YOU come in. We’re searching for someone to test these bad boys and report back to the mag in the form of video blogs, photos, social media posts and a short write-up for an upcoming print issue featuring YOU (and your band, too, if you’re feeling magnanimous)!
YOU KEEP the gear once you’re done telling us all about it. Cool, huh!
Interested? Email ben@performermag.com with the subject line “I Wanna Test the System 10 Camera-Mount!” and briefly tell us why we should give the gear to you OR leave a comment below.
Keep in mind we need someone interested in testing these out in a cool way to complement a video production (they’re camera-mounted systems, after all). So please keep that in mind – perhaps you’re shooting some footage for a documentary on your band, or maybe you’d like to use them for behind-the-scenes YouTube videos or for gear review videos. You’ll also need to be able to put together a short (under 500 words) written recap for us no later than the second week of March to hit our target date for print.
Let us know if you’re up to the challenge – entries are due January 31st, 2015. CONUS entrants only, sorry.
Excelsior!
**The ATW-1701/L and ATW-1702, to be exact. The main difference is one features a lapel mic and one features a standard handheld dynamic mic. For complete specs click here.
