The Darcys Release Video for “Horses Fell”

Cool new video from a band we really dig, The Darcys. Watch it below.

The video was filmed by Michael Maxxis in Reno, Nevada earlier this year.

What Michael has to say on the video: “This video follows Sonny Castille, a former Vegas lounge singer who lost everything to drug addiction. He moved to Reno, so he could disappear. I met Sonny at a slot machine in the Sands Hotel at 2am, and was moved by his story. It is a story that is presented in his eyes. It is a real story of loss, and I felt it would be an affecting narrative for the Horses Fell music video.”

The Darcys will release critically acclaimed album Warring in the UK March 24 via Arts & Crafts/PIAS.

Signed to Canada’s premiere independent label, The Darcys are comprised of Jason Couse [vocals, guitar, keys], Wes Marksell [drums], Michael le Riche [guitar, synth, vocals] and Dave Hurlow [bass].

Warring wasted no time garnering glowing international praise, hailed by SPIN as a “pretty hybrid of Local Natives and Atoms For Peace,” and leading NYLON to champion The Darcys as “your new favourite band.” Read our review of Warring here.
