Of Verona lead singer Mandi Perkins puts it simply: “I think that ultimately you don’t make music that you think will make other people happy, you make music to make yourself happy and you hope that other people get something out of it. But it really is rewarding if you get an email from someone anywhere in the world saying that your music reminds them of home. Music can make people feel like they’re not alone. If you can make art or music that makes people feel less alone, then I think that’s the greatest reward.”
Check back with us on Friday when we reveal a brand new video celebrating of Verona’s creative process, and we’ll also expand upon their story of artistic expression – all a part of our new Innovation Spotlight series.
