Chris Joyner has been cool enough to let Performer premiere his new 45 single “Domino” from the upcoming album of the same name (due out May 12th). In addition to being a killer solo artist, Joyner is the industry’s go-to pianist and keyboardist, currently on tour with Heart and recently with Ray LaMontagne, Jason Mraz, Sheryl Crow, Tom Morello, Amos Lee, Citizen Cope, Jack Johnson, Sara Bareilles, Ben Harper, The Madden Brothers, and Mason Jennings — and that’s just to name a few.
Here’s what the man has to say about the song: “‘Domino’ is a fun little jam about hypocrisy, written for those judgmental finger-waggers. Crazy production with rollicking piano, Moog, cellos, backwards choirs, bells and whistles. It’s a weird, but fun song.”
