QSC MD Series Loudspeakers
and PLX2 Series Amplifiers

QSC has introduced its MD Series self-powered loudspeakers, a versatile line that successfully delivers superior fidelity from lightweight modules. Each of the line's four full-range models feature twelve- or fifteen-inch low-frequency drivers and is encased in identical, 30-degree trapezoidal cabinets. This unique design element allows for the seamless arrangement of the loudspeakers side-by-side, providing an even distribution of sound anywhere from 60 to 360 degrees. The series derives its consistency from two light, compact power modules, the PM-1000 and PM-1400, both of which feature new Class D amplifier technology. The PM-1000 provides 800 watts of low-frequency power while reserving 200 watts for clear sound above 20kHz, making it an ideal choice for two-way systems. For subwoofer needs, the PM-1400 can put out 1,400 watts at 4 ohms. Internal error correction circuitry ensures full-spectrum fidelity. The MD Series line brings QSC's newest technology to an array of loudspeaker applications.

For demanding speaker systems, QSC has unveiled its PLX2 Series amplifiers. Divided into the "02" and "04" models, the series features QSC's patented PowerLight technology, providing 190,000 to 230,000 energy pulses per second. At just thirteen pounds, the "04" models are designed for portability and can power one to two speakers from each amplifier channel. The "02" models are capable of running four loudspeakers from each amplifier channel and include a bevy of helpful features such as built-in subwoofer processing and filter switches. The PLX3602 alone can produce up to 3,600 watts at 2 ohms. Cast-aluminum I-beams reinforce the sturdy design, while an exhaust system directs hot air out the front to keep the rack cool. Front handles allow for smooth rack installation. The amplifiers are defined by tireless power, allowing for a full, dynamic sound.
