Aviom 6416 Mic Input Module

Aviom unveiled its new 16-channel preamp system, the latest in its Pro64 series with analog inputs and a smooth digital transport. Each channel has a variable gain setting, multi-segment signal level LEDs and individual on/off switches and the unit supports all Pro64 sample rates, from 44.1/48kHz to 192 kHz. Users will enjoy a pristine, low latency distribution of the digital signal regardless of the sample rate of incoming audio. The module can be remote controlled with the RCI Remote Control Interface and MCS Mic Control Surface. The 1U RCI provides a network access point and monitor station. The MCS is used to select and edit any active mic preamp channel anywhere in the network. The 6416 also features +48V phantom power, low-cut filter, phase invert and pad per channel. It can save 16 preamp presets. Input channels use balanced XLR connectors, the passive split/aux input uses DB25 multipins and the A-Net audio network connections use locking EtherCon RJ45 connectors.
