Jacksonville indie artist Shawn Lightfoot is on his way back to the studio after a long recording hiatus during which he did a lot of touring of the Jacksonville area. Lightfoot hopes to have a four-five song EP, titled That Old Sweet Southern Style finished sometime in August. He has also begun work on a video with Jacksonville indie-film director Mike Breen for Lightfoot's song "sweet em'ly brown." The video, Lightfoot says, will be a summary of the last eight years of "socio-political 'fun' in America" and will be finished sometime before the presidential election in November.

Whole Wheat Bread is not your typical southern punk band. While they are unique for a number of reasons, including their special blend of punk and hip-hop, the most noticeable reason is the fact that they are featured on Lil Jon's newest album Crunk Rock. WWB contributed both music and writing to the much anticipated fifth album by the King of Crunk.
