Willfully untold in it’s own era, the Groovy story can now finally…well, it’s perhaps not a story so mush as something that happened – a series of extra-musical incidents that rubbed to and fro across the grain of the early 1980′s, contributing in some way to the mad drift in all directions that forms of popular music were headed. Free Agents, Pete Shelley, Sally Smmit, Strange Men In Sheds With Spanners compose the Groovy catalog and they will all be available Dec. 6th 2011 on faithfully represented LP jackets and January 2012 as a CD box set.
