Ghent, New York, April 4, 2011- Today, The Big Up Music & Arts Festival announced the addition of Tipper and RAQ to its 2011 festival lineup. They join headliners EOTO (featuring Michael Travis and Jason Hann of the String Cheese Incident), Big Gigantic, Digital Tape Machine (featuring Joel Cummins and Kris Myers of Umphrey’s McGee) and Marco Benevento Trio at this year’s The Big Up Music & Arts Festival held on July 28, 29 and 30, 2011, at the legendary Sunnyview Farm in Ghent, New York.

Also scheduled to perform at The Big Up Music & Arts Festival are Ott, Abakus, Papadosio, Orchard Lounge, The Breakfast, The Polish Ambassador, The Indobox, Kung Fu, Higher Organix, Dopapod, The Malah, Jimkata, Strange Arrangement, ElectronicAnonymous, Dr. Jah & The Love Prophets, Funktion, D.V.S*, Perileyes, Timbre Coup, Blacklight Rukus, Technicolor Lenses, Steady Knock, Pulse Prophets, The Cyborg Trio and more.

Now in its second year, The Big Up Music & Arts Festival has already become a summer tradition for festival-goers seeking a unique and intimate festival experience. All VIP ticket purchases made by 11:59 p.m. on April 31, 2011, will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a handmade and limited edition wire wrap sculpture made especially for The Big Up Music & Arts Festival by Massachusetts jewelry designer Matthew DiSpagna.

Gates will open at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 28 and the festival grounds will close on Sunday, July 31 at noon.
